چکیده
Background: In the last decades lumpectomy is most frequent surgery in breast cancer and non-palpable tumors we need a guide. years lot of kind seeds are used to guided surgery, one them ferromagnetic seed called Magseed® our hospital start use 2018 present this paper experiences using TAD. Material methods: We have analyzed all surgeries by since November July 2022, that mean: 253 patients, 282 seeds, 235 lumpectomies 246 36 Also, radiologists surgeons filled questionnaire about first 43 patients. Results: 100% were removed Negative margins achieved 220 patients (86.95%) Breast type who second were: 1 lobular carcinoma + intraductal carcinoma, 6 invasive ductal 5 21 carcinoma. Of 33 with marking an axillary lymph node, 3 more than 10 mm from three nodes 2 guide ultrasonography. made comparing wire magnetic seed, consider implantation easier mammographic X-ray, but ultrasound no differences. 7 versus easier, answered both similar. Also it was duration shorter (20.37 min. vs 25.06 surgery). Conclusion: The has good results. Its easy sure can make 30 days before surgery. whole seed. No conflict interest. Seromas and Punctures after Complete Axillary Node Dissection for Breast Cancer: Differences between Mastectomy and Lumpectomy
Methods: The medical reports of 223 women who underwent CALND after mastectomy (n=127) or lumpectomy (n=96) for breast cancer and who were followed in our institute were retrospectively reviewed to obtain the following: the characteristics (volume and duration) of the drained seromas; the number, volume, and duration of punctures performed after hospital discharge; the patient’s age and body ma...
متن کاملLower axillary dissection in breast cancer surgery may be candidate for cases with early breast cancer.
Lower axillary lymph node dissection (lower parts of both the level I and II elements below the second intracostobrachial nerve) and level I and II lymph node dissection were performed on breast cancer patients (n = 54), and the results with the two methods were compared in terms of the status of detected lymph node metastases. For Stage I, N0 cases, the results for pathological classification ...
متن کاملDissection axillary lymph node count in patient with breast cancer followed by neoadjuvant therapy
Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the second cause of death in women. It is essential to have the highest level of confidence in axillary staging assessment. Many surgeons and pathologists believe that fewer lymph nodes are present in axillary dissection specimens of women treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Consequently, the purpose of this study was to compare the lym...

Background The incidence of breast cancer increases with advancing age. Although breast cancer in elderly patients presents corresponding biological characteristics to similar-stage cancer in younger women, the treatment is under standardized. This population is rarely included in randomized clinical trials. In absence of guide lines, tailored surgery has an important role in older women breast...
